Bali Villa Mystique
For most Aussies, Bali is the 'IT' holiday destination if you are looking for a spontaneous extra long weekend getaway, multiple cheap massage opportunities , a family adventure or even if you just need some time out to enjoy some cheap cocktails, some great food and to either laze by the pool for days on end or explore the beauty of the islands that the outskirts of Bali has to offer. I have done my fair share of Bali trips, each one bringing a different adventure with new places to explore, creating new memories and sharing it with family and or friends or both. This time around I was lucky enough to share in a Bali getaway with some lovely family friends and my family staying at 'Bali Mystique Hotel and Apartments' in Seminyak. On most occassions that I have been to Bali i have stayed in Kuta as it is the prime spot for tourists show casing the nightlife, the Bali shops (poppies lane & shopping centres) as well as held tourist hot spot musts such as The Waterbom Park and food places such as 'Bubba Gump Shrimp.' As the tourism of Bali has grown so much over the years and for the pure fact that I have done those attractions in previous trips, I now much prefer to stay in quieter locations hence being blessed this time around to stay in Seminyak. The location of 'Bali Mystique Hotel and Apartments' was brilliant! It has an ATM machine on site (which is super handy), restaurants right out the front as well as the Bali Mystique's restaurant itself. It had a beautiful gelato shop (Gelato Secrets) a few minutes walk to the right, Seminyak Square about a ten minute walk as well as countless delicious breakfast places such as 'The Fat Turtle', 'Sisterfields', 'Cafe Organic', within minutes walk to the front of the hotel. The famous 'Potato Head' was also within minutes as well as tattoo parlous, mini marts and beautiful Balinese shops. I would definitely stay here again for the location alone! The streets were busy but not so busy that you got harassed by shop owners or cabs like you would in Kuta. Having 6 of us we stayed in the Three Bedroom Villa with Private Pool. My gosh wasn't it beautiful. It literally felt like your own private getaway! You got a kitchen, multiple TV's within your room and in the living area. Dining suite, couches, fridge, it was all provided. There was a few minimal hiccups with our Wifi not working on the first few days but that got sorted pretty quickly and you must remember to spray your rooms at night to keep the mosquito's at bay! Being close to water, they did manage to find their way in! The staff were warm and kind and helped if and where you needed it. This Three bedroom villa sleeps 6 with 3 separate rooms so perfect for couples, family or even a bunch of friends to escape to for a Bali holiday. As well as having your own private pool in this villa, you can also make your way up to the reception area where another pool awaits along with a restaurant and bar for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just drinks. As far as good quality hotels and villa's go, Villa Mystique has definitely been up there for me!
